This disappointment is particularly disheartening as the 7ft fishing rod was vital for an upcoming fishing trip. Tackle Direct’s lapses in accuracy, communication, and responsiveness have not only compromised the expected quality of the gear but have also left me in a precarious position as the trip approaches. This regrettable experience prompts caution to others considering Tackle Direct for time-sensitive acquisitions, emphasizing the need for alternative, more reliable options.

   I love this new penn prevail rod, I added the penn clash 2 reel and it compliments the rod. These two make an excellent combination for saltwater fishing.    7’ Light Inshore Prevail II – Received item and box packaging was subpar but there was zero damage to rod. First impression was that it’s a good looking rod, lightweight, grippy, reels seats perfectly, all guides are perfectly in line, and action is fast. I will be using it with a Penn Battle II 2500 for smallmouth/shoal bass fishing in rivers and light inshore. Very happy with my purchase and was a very attractive price point @ $38. It will be heavily used soon when Spring arrives. Will update review if my experience with this rod goes downhill.
