This reel is awesome it works well with the fishing rod I built. For saltwater fishing rinse your rods and reels off after you use them and re grease and oil them once a year. The 2500 does what I need. It is a basic reel that I can put 8lb fluorocarbon or light braid on. I fish both fresh and salt water. Great reel for inshore fishing.

This is my favorite reel for rock season! I have a number of Penn Rods and Reels but this one by far is my best one. Super smooth to reel and great quality!

Had a 3000 size but found it too bulky for the type fishing I do . The 2500 is the perfect size. Have caught lots of fish and it has held up

ツインパ・セルテですら軽量化の波に飲まれ金属ボディを捨ててしまいましたが、当機はフルメタルの程好い重さでロングロッドでも非常にバランスが取りやすいです。

巻き心地こそシマノやダイワの10年遅れ(下手したら20年)レベルですが、必要十分な滑らかさであり、感度云々の煩型の方は素直にステラ・イグジを買いましょう。

ステン・ブラスギアの堅牢性、シンプルな構造、ネジ3/4本で内部へアクセスできるメンテナンス性などなど、国産メーカーが失ってしまった釣りでガンガン使う道具としてのあるべき姿がPENNにはあるのではないかと思います。
