this is an awesome reel! Once you use a two speed reel you wont want to use anything else. high gear will retreive your line super fast and low gear will help you power those big fish up to the surface. what this reel wont do is make you a good fisherman if you suck like my buddy Wes.

Bought medium 30/80 rod. This rod is lightweight, with tremendous power. Caught several 30 plus pound Amber Jacks.

Package arrived well protected and undamaged. Looks like a great setup. Can’t wait to add some line and see how it does at sea! Four stars for now, at least until I catch a big fish!
