I have a few penn reels but i like the way this one spins. Its a little heavy but all penn reels are heavy. For the money you cant ask for a reel that is sealed and has a very smooth spin.

Flawless Reel that you will Love Casting. Handles any size Fish without any issues. Take some time and adjust the braking system to your liking and then just Practice before you head out. I can cast this baby almost 200-300 Yards and Love it for Surf Fishing. Smooth Retrieve and Excellent braking. You will burn your thumb if you're not careful but that's part of using a Conventional reel.. Practice with it will result in less burns. Very Durable design. The Gears are so Quiet when you Retrieve.
