Reels work great

This is great, but it is a little on the heavy side, that's the reason for 4 star other than that great looking rod.

Package arrived well protected and undamaged. Looks like a great setup. Can’t wait to add some line and see how it does at sea! Four stars for now, at least until I catch a big fish!

this is what happens when they don't actually test their product in the real world. The weak handle design and the silver paint was a horrible idea.. yes it looks better but it starts chipping off after the first use and by the end of the season...horrible. I have and use penn reels from 20 years ago and I doubt these new fathoms will last me a couple of seasons. bummed because I try and stick with Penn but doesn't look like I can anymore.

I am very happy with this purchase. This reel so far has been great. I know that time is the true test but for now I really like everything about this reel
