Why Penn would put a cheap plastic line counter that can't be removed on a stainless steel reel is beyond me. First the plastic fell off and then the line counter no longer worked.
I have 4 of these with 65lb braid on them and for the price there great! Biggest fish have been a 46lb flat head catfish and a 60in lake sturgeon. Handled them no problem! Both drag and the way they real is very smooth. The only downside is the bait feeder is not very loud thats the only reason for the 4 out of 5 stars. I would say otherwise it's 5 star
