Reel is well made like the Battle III. Smooth. Not wet a line yet with it but I have high expectations!

40 size, fishing 65lb spectra with 60 lb fluorocarbon. Nice reel for jigging and bait. Smooth drag. Bluefin killers.

First off I'm a Penn guy. I have about 8 Penn reels from the Penn Battles to the Penn Clash's and Slammers 3 and now some Slammers 4!
I was so Excited to have received this Slammer 4 2500 BUT what a disappointment!! The clicker on the drag does not work as it should! Also adding line (12lb braid) the reel was not reeling it evenly. I added a spacer and did not work so then I removed 2 of the spacers and again NOTHING! The braid was so on even that I just gave up! To many issues for a 200.00 reel!
I have never ever had any issues with any of my Penn reels till this one came along! Not sure what's going on with it but I'm definitely sending it back for a refund!
