I did a lot of internet research for the best salt water reel for 2021. Out of 5 fishing websites that extensively test, analyze, and rate slat water reels, this was consistently at the top. if it was not #1 as it was in 3 article, it was in the top 3..... This is out of 1o rated reels. Penn has always mad quality durable reels, and this one rate with ^600-$800 reels... Difference is that it weighs more than the more expensive reels.
The gear ratios are prefect, the materials are very durable, drag is what you want and more, and is is so smooth in it mechanics when reeling in fish. You want a high performing reel that will last a long time and meet your needs for large or small fish.... Look no further.

Paired this reel with a heavy action 7ft Ugly Stik Tiger Lite rod and 50 lb test Spiderwire braid. Landed a 25 pound Bull Red off the pier at Gulf State Park that didn't really test the rod or reel. Next day I hooked up an approximately six foot, 130 pound bull shark that put the rig and me to the test. I broke a sweat but the rod and reel handled the shark easily. Had to max out the drag and really dig in with the rod to turn him when he ran for the pier. The shark pulled well over a hundred yards of line at fairly high drag settings and another forty or fifty yards at max drag when he got spooked at the pier and made another run. Got the shark to the pier for pictures and cut him loose in about ten minutes. The drag was smooth as silk no matter what pressure was put on it. Impressive reel and one of the best reels on the market in that price range IMO. I plan on putting this rod and reel to some heavy use this year. We'll see if they hold up long term.

Wer auf der Suche nach einer guten und wirklich robusten Salzwasserrolle ist der sollte sich diese Rollenserie einmal genauer unter die Lupe nehmen. Preis und Leistung sind meiner Ansicht nach top. Videos zu dieser Rolle gibt es zur genüge im Netz,und wenn man sich dann ansieht mit welchen Brocken von Fischen diese Rolle klar
kommt, kann man davon ausgehen das diese Rollen von einer sehr guten Qualität sein müssen um solche kampfstarken Fische zu bändigen. Handhabung sowie Materialien und Verarbeitung sind absolut top.
