Very good reel used already few times for huge saltwater fishing 🎣

I must say I was very disappointed with this purchase .Upon using the first time the wire
spool split apart while retrieving the weight, rendering the whole downrigger useless.
Needless to say I won't be doing business ,here again.

On 7/21/14 I was able to contact Downrigger-Pro.I explained what happen to Alex and he seemed
very concerned about it and said I should receive the replacement parts in 2 days.I want to apoligize
to Alex and others at Downrigger-Pro for jumping to conclusion too early.

This is a great reel. But!
It just feels so stiff. For a new reel it feels as if you have an eye rapped on the line. I expect better from Penn.

I have bought several of these reels over the years in various sizes and all of them still work perfectly. Good price too. They operate smoothly with strong smooth drag and the are also light weight. Will buy again. they make good gifts for my buddies too.
