This is a great reel, although it is much bigger than I thought or needed. It shipped very quickly and works perfect. This thing is a beast!

Great reel for me, only problem is I want more. One down 19 left.

I've fished with this rod for more than six months... freshwater and saltwater. I've caught everything from tiny bluegill, to largemouth bass, to redfish, to gafftop, and 30in blacktip sharks from the surf on this rod.

You can place your trust in this rod. I have the 7ft extra heavy fast action rod. I wanted a rod I could catch just about anything on and this has not disappointed. Paired with a Penn Battle III - 6000 reel, I have no complaints.

I have not used this reel just yet, But I am going to enjoy reeling in Fish with this reel on the Ocean on Charter boats and on my Own Boat. I buy mostly Penn reels and have Spinning and conventional ones I use a lot, I switch up using them depends on species of fish I am After though. Mostly I love Ocean Fishing when ever I can go to the ocean . My Slammer is one I use and sweet reel it is.
