Excellent combo, smooth reel! Lost a star because one of my eyelids on the rod showed up bent and made a hairline crack but I can deal with it. A new rod would be nice

Good for bottom fishing, Carolina rigging with 1oz weights, or casting a tandem rig with 1/4 oz jig head or live shrimp under a heavy cork.Not good for casting lighter baits like a single 1/4 oz jig head with a three inch paddle tail. Back lash ever time.

Slammer 4 4500を使っており、非常に気に入ってます。
今回Slammer 4 DX 3500を買い足しました。
ギアがステンレス製に変更された事によるネガティブな要素はなく、かっちりとした巻き心地が気に入ってます。
SUPフィッシングではリールが海水に浸かってしまったり、パドルで叩いてしまったり、岸際でSUPごとひっくり返ってしまう事もありますが、Slammerなら使用後の水洗いだけで機能を維持できており、安心感があります。
単純かつよく考えられた構造なので、メンテナンスが容易な点も、良いです。

ドラグも滑り出しや収まり方が非常にスムーズで、これだけでも買う価値があります。

国産最新機種を空巻きしたところ、巻き始めは確かに国産最新機種の方が軽かったです。
だからといって釣りの場面で実害がないので、気にしてません。
