Compared to all other ulua poles I’ve used, the medium action is very stiff. I’d say it’s stiffer than a MH nitro pole.

The lure weight says 5-8 but I wouldn’t throw anything less than a 6 oz on it. Great pole with comfortable grips.

I love this reel! It casts a mile (once you learn how) and has great line capacity. I would try getting it locally though because it’s not any cheaper on pennoutlet.com and the one I received (and promptly returned) was used (and sold as new). It even had salt water corrosion on the reel clamp bolts and dirty grease everywhere. Not cool pennoutlet.com.

edited to add: I totally agree with "Grumpy's" review as well. This is a fantastic reel and the quality is top notch. I have 2 of them and did upgrade the handle and bridge assembly (and magged the reel) but it would fish great just as it is. I also have the exact same setup as "Grumpy", the 12' Ocean Master and toss 6oz and bait with 50lb braid tied to 50lb mono. I think i'm going to buy a couple more!

I ordered 2 of these 113h reels. What they don't tell you in the description is that they are not 113h reels. They are 113hLH reels. They are LEFT HANDED Reels. Karandilla tried to deny me of returning the items because they claim that they are clearly marked (which you can see for yourself that they are not) Karandilla has since added pictures of left handed reels on the ad. but it still isn't in the descriptions. just be careful.
