   The Product is a good product. The problem I had was with pennoutlet.com itself. The pole arrived damaged and when I contacted pennoutlet.com about it they said they would just refund my money and just keep it. I was like awesome thanks pennoutlet.com. But after a few days I never received my refund and when I contacted pennoutlet.com back about it they said now that they can’t do that. I do not agree with them telling me they would do something then take it back.

   I LOVE Penn rods and reels and have used them for many years. Nothing better, IMHO. My Penn combo arrived via UPS with only a plastic bag protecting it. A few of the rod’s eyes were bent, but easily bent back to their proper alignment. Miraculously, no other damage. So. 4 stars for the vendor and 5 stars for UPS.

   I’ve been fishing since the mid 70’s, I’ve had most every type of setup from small freshwater to 8/0 Tuna and Shark rods, that being said I wanted to get back into light fishing locally (Blues, Stripped bass, Fluke, weakfish and so on max fish about 15lbs) so I went to local stores seeing what’s around, after about half a day in different stores I found this combination and absolutely loved it, it’s lightweight, at 9 ft it does very well in one hand (it’s so lightweight) the 6000 reel really delivers a smooth seamless bail click, it’s ability to retrieve lures is amazing (it will go as fast as you want without feeling like work) overall I’m super happy with this setup, I highly recommend this if you want a lightweight setup that has all the feeling of a very expensive outfit 💯💖🔥

    La caña venía dañada se supone que la caña mide 7 pies (2.14mts) pero la caña media 1.94mts, le cortaron la última parte de la caña para que cupiera en el empaque, por ese motivo es que devolví el producto, y pues estoy en espera de la devolución de lo que pague por el equipo, y así poder hacer otra compra.

    I have a similar rod and reel that was shipped the same way and received it with one eyelet bent. I love the rod and reel but can’t use them when they are damaged. This one, all eyelets were damaged. Was hoping to use it this weekend but will now not have it for my fishing trip. I wish these would be shipped in more than just a bag.

    Great rod and reel.
    Reason for 4 star is it was delivered damaged.
    The bail was not round looked like someone stepped on it and sent it back. I just didn’t see it till I went to rig it. So I fixed it myself.

    pennoutlet.com was very understanding and swapped the product for me, free of charge. This time the packaging was 10x’s better and everything was as expected! Was excited to finally be able to purchase this combo. However, upon unboxing, I noticed the bail on the reel was completely smashed into the spool. Box was in good condition. Had to be packaged in this shape from the factory. Giving 2 stars due to rod being in good condition.(No defects/breaks). Did request a replacement so we will see what condition it will arrive in. Possible update soon.
