Want a great reel for the surf?
You can’t do much better than the slammer dx.
This is the kind of reel that should last you for years.
Mine came with plenty off good luck too I’ve already caught over two dozen fish with it.
Not bad for having it just over two weeks.
IPX 6 sealing should keep the salt and moisture out of your gears and the upgraded stainless steel main gear gives you all the power and durability you’ll ever need.
I’ll be fishing this reel for years and years to come.

ローター含めボディも全て金属製でずっしりと来るところは頑強さと安心感を感じさせます。某コアソリッドシリーズよりもさらにソリッド感があります。ドラグ音を鳴らすギア⚙の形状もPENN社累代の特徴的な形ですね。
先立って購入したSlammerⅣの5500で質感および使用感が良かったのでピニオンギア、メインギアが真鍮からステンレスになったという、この4500DXを買い足しました。
5500と比べてボディの大きさがかなりコンパクトなので，この重量差はなるほどと思った次第です。それに伴いハンドルノブの経も写真の通り大きさに違いがあります。握った感触は良好です。
付属のスペアノブの形状が3500、4500サイズはフィラーノブという、指でつまみやすい形状（5500以上に採用のラウンド型ではない）なのでご注意（写真参照）。
表記通りPE2.5号がきっちり300m巻けました。pennoutlet.comで購入しましたが正規の代理店ピュアフィッシングジャパンの保証書が添付されていました。この点は安心ですね。
空巻きした限りではとてもスムーズで軽快です。よほどのハズレ個体というのも無いのではないでしょうか。丈夫で長持ちするリールだと思います。
